This magnificent Victorian building with its imposing façade has recently undergone a major refurbishment and investment programme to enable us to offer the ultimate in luxury hotel accommodation, facilities and standards. All 14 of the hotel's double bedrooms have been furnished to an upper three star standard to ensure your comfort is guaranteed. Whether you choose a standard, You can be assured that you will experience one of the most comfortable and memorable bedroom experiences. Please note that the Crystal hotel is now non-smoking throughout.
Booking & Cancellation Policy: Credit card details are required in order to guarantee your booking. Payments should be made at the hotel upon arrival. Prices quoted are cash prices and should you prefer to pay by a card, please beware of the administration charge of 5% on any card payments. Alternatively you may pay in Euros (in cash) at a rate on day of payment without any commission. The account will be debited for the first night unless cancelled within 72 hours of arrival. Credit card details are accepted if only the card holder is the guest/a member of the group of guests, otherwise the booking could be cancelled by the hotel due to security reasons. Third person's payment is not accepted unless it is a payment by a company. Company payments should be arranged with the hotel prior to arrival. If you are making a booking from a visa required country, booking charge of 20% of the entire booking fee will be debitted from your debit/credit card account within 24 hours of the reservation. This booking charge is non refundable or non-transferable, however this charge will be deducted from the total fee and the remaining payment will be made at the hotel. 
The Thanet Hotel is a friendly, family run bed & breakfast hotel - all 16 bedrooms have a private shower and WC and are comfortably furnished with colour television, direct dial phone, radio, hairdryers and tea and coffee making facilities. Also Wi-Fi is available. A full English breakfast is included in the tariff and is served in our traditional dining room. The Thanet Hotel is a Grade II listed building set in a quiet Georgian terrace between Russell & Bloomsbury Squares. The hotel is conveniently located close to The British Museum, theatreland & Oxford Street. The hotel is run under the personal supervision of the Orchard family who are third generation hoteliers. Many of the original features of the house have been maintained to enhance the character of the hotel. The reception area has a well-stocked information point and our friendly staff are always on hand to offer assistance.
